- The second operation of the Rail Investment Master Plan (PDIFER) is the regeneration of the line between Poitiers and Limoges. This 141 km line is single track and connects the two capitals of the former administrative regions of Poitou-Charentes and Limousin, and is made up of 3 sections:
• Line no. 601 000 from Poitiers to Mignaloux-Nouaille, Pk 341 100 to 348 080
• Line no. 604 000 from Mignaloux-Nouaille to Dorat, Pk 348 080 to 419 630
• Line no. 606,000 from Dorat to Limoges (Benedictin). Pk 419 630 to 474 615
The line is shared between INFRAPOLES Poitou-Charentes (Troncon 1) and Indre-Limousin (Section 2) at pk 408 480.
